AXIS CATALOGUE (1985)

This catalog accompanied a 1985 retrospective exhibition of Ambasz work at the Axis Gallery in Tokyo. The dust jacket has been embossed and die- cut so that it can be folded into a three dimensional representation of two of his architectural projects. Using folded paper to evoke an object is very traditional in Japan, serving as a cultural bridge, and allowing visitors to interact with the exhibition.

In collaboration with G. Piretti.
