VITTEL WATER BOTTLE

(1985)

The Vittel water bottle is based on the merging of the bottle’s practical requirements and the substance’s sensual delight. The bottle has a feeling of quality a clean and elegant acetic package. A wavy-V texture makes the bottle easy to grip and tactilely pleasant. The pattern suggests both the company name and the ripples of water. The liquid pours smoothly from the mouth of the bottle. They can be stacked on top of each other or packaged in groups of seven to form a circle for a week’s worth of drinking. Like a fine perfume bottle for water, the container signals that something of real quality is inside.
